Our Community's Work

Atara Girls High School provides a traditional girls high school experience for Jewish teens; as well as, a top-notch secular education.

Camp Livingston offers an unmatched pluralistic summer overnight camping experience for Jewish children and teens.

Center for Holocaust and Humanity Education's programs and exhibits (e.g. Mapping Our Tears, Speakers Bureau, Reach for the Stars) offer Holocaust educational curriculum to the greater Cincinnati community including students, church members, lay leaders, educators, and more. The CHHE internship program provides young Jewish adults with a meaningful work experience to create a strong foundation for future employment in our community.

 

Cincinnati Hebrew Day School provides a traditional Jewish day school experience as well as a top-notch secular education.

Hadassah (a volunteer women's organization motivated to strengthen their partnership with Israel) works to ensure Jewish continuity and in American society.

Halom House works to offer more programs and services with a unique Judaic curriculum to Jewish families with adults who have developmental disabilities.

JEEP helps Jewish people with special needs connect with Jewish education and Jewish community.

Workum Intern Program provides college students with paid internships in Jewish Communal Agencies throughout the Greater Cincinnati Area.

Charverim M'Israel brings two young emissaries from Israel (high-school graduates who delay their required Israeli Defense Force service) to teach about Israel, bring a realistic view of Israel, and create interpersonal relationships with local youth and families.

Community Shlicha brings an adult Israeli emissary who connects Cincinnati to Israel and works in the greater Cincinnati community bringing programs, culture, and a better understanding of Israel.

Onward Israel program connects college-aged young adults with businesses in Tel Aviv, Israel for summer internships in their field of study.

Birthright Israel orchestrates ten-day heritage trips to Israel for Jewish young adults, aged 18–26.

Partnership2Gether builds living bridges between Cincinnati and Netanya, Israel by sharing ideas, strengths, challenges and models of success and by empowering both communities to generate waves of change.

SAFE Cincinnati aims to assess the security needs of our local Jewish Community and implement awareness and best-practices throughout.

Chai Tots (the only Jewish Montessori school in Ohio) offers a nurturing place for a Jewish child to discover his/her unique personality and abilities.

Kulanu offers a sacred and safe place to learn, play and be with other Jewish teens and adults committed to honoring each student's journey as they begin to establish their own personal Jewish identity as a foundation for the rest of their lives.

The Mayerson JCC works to enhance and expand access to Jewish content which includes; broadening their Jewish curriculum at preschool and daycare; exploring the creation of a new preschool/daycare facility for the purpose of attracting young working couples; continuing to expand and grow PJ Library membership, March of the Living, Film Festival, Yom HaShoah and Yom Ha’atzmaut Celebrations, Maccabi Games, Teen engagement, and Exhibition Series.

Mayerson JCC Senior Adult Socialization provides meaningful experiences for older Jewish adults to connect with each other and to their community.

Rockwern Academy continues to make investments to expand their pre-school program.

UC Lichter Lecture Series focuses on a different theme each year with three leading scholars or intellectuals invited to address certain issues from different perspectives.
