Our Community's Work

ACCESS Program empowers Jewish young professionals to engage with today's critical domestic and international issues.

Center for Holocaust and Humanity Education's programs and exhibits (e.g. Mapping Our Tears, Speakers Bureau, and Reach for the Stars) offer Holocaust educational curriculum to the greater Cincinnati community including students, church members, lay leaders, educators, and more. CHHE 3rd Generation (3G) program aims to connect grandchildren of Holocaust survivors to our collective Jewish experience and to Cincinnati Jewry.

Easter Seals VIP program provides outings and social events for the developmentally disabled.

The Jewish Cemeteries of Greater Cincinnati (JCGC) promotes tours of their cemeteries and clean-up projects reaching out to Sunday Schools and partnering with Hebrew Union College (HUC) and the Mayerson JCC.  

JCGC continues to consolidate Jewish cemeteries.

Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) the arm of the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati focuses on collaboration, relationship-building, advocacy, education, understanding, respect, and justice.

L.E.A.D. prepares future Jewish communal leaders by creating meaningful connections to community organizations and each other.

National Young Leadership Cabinet commit to shaping a bright future for the Jewish people in North America, Israel and around the globe.

Shared Business Services consolidates finance, human resources, and information technology functions for participating Jewish organizations.

JVS Career Services helps job-seeking individuals and companies find each other to form stronger, more satisfying and more productive relationships.

BINYAN Cincinnati recruits, mentors, and employs young Jewish families within the local Jewish community.

MARCC provides a way for the religious community to speak in one voice through constructive community action and the development of a community conscience.

BBYO provides opportunities for Jewish youth to develop their leadership potential, a positive Jewish identity, and commitment to their personal development.

March of the Living joins together Jewish high school seniors from all over the world on this trip of a lifetime visiting Poland and Israel.

Mayerson JCC Arts & Ideas Season brings the best national, regional, and local performers to the Jewish community.

Mayerson JCC provides an electronic bulletin board in the lobby of the Mayerson JCC highlighting all the local Jewish community events.

Mayerson JCC Jewish exhibition series will create 1 to 2 events, each year, promoting local congregations and organizations to encourage participation.

ACCESS brings together Jewish young adults, ages 21-35, through social, fun programing.

Shalom Family brings together Jewish families with young children through social, fun programing. 

Miami Hillel unites Jewish students at Miami University of Ohio with members of the Jewish Community in Cincinnati that share their interests and career fields.

National Council of Synagogue Youth connects inspires and empowers Jewish teens through Torah and Tradition.

National Federation of Temple Youth (Reform Jewish religious youth movement) fosters leadership at the national, regional and congregational level.

University of Cincinnati Hillel (UC Hillel) holds weekly pluralistic Shabbat services followed by a Shabbat dinner.  

UC Hillel plans to implement a version of Career Israel to connect students with mentors and internships and ultimately jobs in Cincinnati.

The Campus Entrepreneur Initiative (CEI) takes advantage of UC Bearcats and Hebrew Union College (HUC) leadership opportunities for our students.

United Synagogue Youth (Conservative Jewish religious youth movement) fosters leadership at the national, regional and congregational level.
