Honeymoon Israel

It's about the journey

Honeymoon Israel is a great opportunity for young couples, ages 25 to 40 with at least one Jewish partner, who are preparing to get married or have gotten married within the last five years to travel to Israel. The program welcomes Cincinnati couples of diverse backgrounds, including interfaith and LGBTQ couples, and seeks to engage with couples who may not have a strong connection to the Jewish community. Couples must reside in the Greater Cincinnati area.

The Jewish Federation of Cincinnati and the Mayerson JCC are partnering with Honeymoon Israel to bring this trip to our community and will be responsible for creating opportunities for the trip participants to connect Jewishly in Cincinnati. Thanks to the generous support of The Jewish Foundation of Cincinnati, the trip is highly subsidized and therefore costs only $2,500 per couple including airfare and land. The trip is geared toward couples who are interested in exploring the ways in which they want to incorporate Judaism into their relationship and/or family—in whatever way is meaningful for them. The trip provides a great platform for 20 couples to build community with one another during and after the trip, as all of the participants live in the Greater Cincinnati area.
